Livana stared at Luther and giggled but then she began hiccupping—she felt absolutely embarrassed—she puffed up her cheeks and held her breath until her cheeks turned a rather purple color; she finally breathed. Relieved that her hiccups were gone, she looked at Luther once more and smiled “Your clothes? Those would be fine” she grabbed his hand and swung her arm with his—she tugged and walked the halls with him and looked around at the various paintings and the utter silence that peacefully soothed her—she was quite happy here and wondered if it would really last ever.

“Where is your room?” she asked politely, canting her head to one side.

“Just a few doors down from yours,” Luther replied, watching as her body had made small jumps due to the hiccups. It was rather amusing to him actually, and the small faces she made, made it even better. She was adorable, that he could admit truthfully. “I sure hope they fit,” He made an questionable expression, and shrugged, knowing if they didn’t, they would still be able to get to a nearby shop and buy some, and if the size was entirely noticeable, he thought to lend her his beloved jacket.

Luther paid attention to the swinging motions their hands made as her hands held his, the difference in size is what intrigued him most and soon, he switched and instead of her holding his, he clasped his over hers in a shielding manner. He then fixed his eyes upon her, being a few feet taller; he led her down the hall to his room. As they entered, a scent of newly blossomed roses consumed them, only to hide the other scents that were not supposed to be sensed. He then closed the door behind her, his smile soon leaving him, as his eyes adjusted to the familiar setting of his room.

His room matched the setting of the rest of the mansion, being that majority of his space was colored in a misty wet black, but only on a few items were another color that resembled the only other tint on his jacket. His floors, furniture, and walls were that of black, but they all contained engraved patterns that were hard to comprehend. His bed and curtains on the other hand, were made of satin, and both were washed in crimson. And his room would seemed dulling to most, since there wasn’t really anything that popped from it other than the gothic architecture, the dark colors and the red and black roses that were cupped in vases. Luther sighed, and then glanced over at Livana’s visage and wondered what she thought of all this. Perhaps she would realize that the colors in his room described exactly what he saw every day, darkness and every now and then, blood. It unsettled him, but it was what he was mostly familiar with, given who he was.

”Let’s get you some clothes, hm?” Luther broke the silence. He felt like he had to since it was slowly eating away at him. He passed up the bed that was strategically arranged in the middle of the room as small desks were settled on each side. On the farther right of the room lied a large counter with a few drawers as the only thing that rested upon it were his weapons: Dual machetes with both hilts colored black, as the blade itself reflected a gleaming ancient gray. But it wasn’t there he was walking towards, but more on the other side of the room where his closet was. He pulled open the mirrors that reflected back his own reflection and took a look inside, glancing over his entire darken decorated attires and wondered which particular one would fit Livana best. “Perhaps you could see if you find something you like?” He called out, pushing a few articles of clothing back towards the wall as his eyes were briefly looking upon others.

The star examined Luther’s room, it was dark, literally—she could feel the utter loneliness he had and couldn’t help but bite her lip and stand on her tippy toes to meet his face “You won’t be lonely anymore okay?” she smiled and kissed his nose and forehead; she giggled and twirling around the room. It was quite large but it described how large his loneliness was, she was alone but she had objects and items that kept her company. Luther looked for some clothes for her and it seemed he was having trouble, she wandered over and looked down at all the nice fabrics and patterns.

Livana grabbed a few and rubbed her cheeks against the textures, she was completely in love with them and find them absolutely exciting to touch and feel—she wasn’t accustomed with any of the clothes humans wore these days, but Luther was different she felt like he wasn’t human at all or like the others. She placed the clothes down and looked for my clothes to her suiting but all she found was a large dress shirt that could easily be used as a dress “How about this one?” she motioned her body to grab it and brought it clothes to her; she held it in her arms like she would hold a doll.

She felt the need to take care of Luther’s clothes, she smiled and looked around for a place to change “Don’t look” she mumbled and hid in a corner, she removed her dress and quickly placed on the shirt—it was long sleeved and it hung around her shoulders like a beautiful blouse, she giggled and twirled around in it before picking up her old clothes and bringing them close to her body “Well?” she asked cutely.

Luther’s face was drawn to hers as soon as she kissed over his nose and forehead. It was possibly the best way to send all of his malice thoughts away—that was how powerful her kisses were. He could feel his cheeks redden the same way they did before and soon his frown was nowhere to be seen. “Thank you,” He spoke softly, cupping her cheek in his hand, as he simply could not express the way he felt towards her for promising something so lovely to his ears. He stood tall as she moved away, twirling again it seemed. It was something he enjoyed watching for the simple fact that it told him that she was content.

He took a few steps back, moving out of the way for her to see better of what was in the closet since at the moment, he had no sort of light inside to further distinguish what was in front of her. He let out another chuckle, happy to see that she enjoyed his preference of clothing perhaps as much as he did himself. “That should do,” He gave off an approving nod, and watched as his shirt fluttered against her, as if eager to be worn.

Luther then obediently looked away, covering his eyes even so, so that she would feel more comfortable as she undressed and dressed. After hearing her voice speak up again after the shortened silence of nothing but scrambling, he turned and faced her. His eyes gleamed as they focused, “You look absolutely magnificent,” He assured her; her seemingly cute features were brought out more by the simple fact that the shirt was much larger than her. He chuckled again. “Would you like to wear my jacket with it?” He inquired, his fingers already at the laces to tug it off of him.

Livana nodded at the request for his jacket, she giggled and folded her dress and placed it gently on his bed—the star had no intentions of messing up his beautiful clothing so she had to be careful to be gently with everything; she didn’t want a stain on it. She had wondered if Luther was going to change his clothes or if he was going to keep the same clothing on; either way it didn’t matter to her. She loved Luther just the way he was and she was determined to keep him company as long as she lived “All your clothes are so beautiful, and your room too!” she said with a excited tone.

It was true, the star never seen anything more magnificent and beautiful before, and when he called her magnificent she giggled and started glowing a bright white color “But Luther you are far more magnificent than I, you are beautiful!” she exclaimed and twirled around him like the little ballerina she was. She couldn’t help but smile and laugh because she was so happy, she hadn’t been like this for a while. “I will try not to mess up your pretty clothes, okay?” she spoke and canted her head to one side.

Luther ended up laughing just along with her, it was something truly unexpected, to find such a marvelous person to have all the time alongside of him. She was such a sweet and lovable person to be around, and her charisma was in the simplest form of comment, stunning. “You have such a lovely style yourself, Livana,” He commented back, feeling as if he needed to be sweet back. “And I like your room better,” because it will always remind me of you. Perhaps he should have said what he had thought, to see her cute expressions, but for some reason, it made him shy away from her more than anything, saying such things.

He pulled the strings, loosening them then slowly moved the jacket out of his arms, revealing the white stringy bandages that covered his skin from being revealed. He then leaned forward, and tugged the jacket off completely, and folded it before handing it over to her, standing in only his black pants and white tank top. “Here you go,” He spoke slowly.

”If I am beautiful in your eyes, then you must be absolutely gorgeous and perfect in every manner to mine,” He countered the sweet remark with one of his own, feeling as if she deserved it more than he would. “And no worries pretty lady,” He assured her, walking over to her and petting her head soothingly before helping her put the jacket on.

Unlocking the door with a bright white skeleton key that was rested deeply within the pockets of his coat, he pushed the door open, and carefully heaved Livana inside after closing it and locking it behind him. His eyes darted from area to area of the isolated insides of the living room, most of the furniture covered with a translucent cover, as others still, remained untouched. The dusty floorboards creaked underneath him as he walked towards the seemingly never-ending halls in which a dimming light was loosely hung from the ceiling, and had managed to keep entire darkness away.

Passing up a numerous amount of unopened doors, he finally had stopped just at the very end of the hall. He held Livana close, checking on her once again, and had noticed the smile formed on her face, and the sweet hues of blush that were noticeable against her cheeks. It forced a smile on his, and with that, he entered the sweetly cold room and walked her over to a queen-sized bed and with great amount of gentleness and care, he placed her down after swooping the several amount of covers outward then tucked her neatly in.

He heaved a deepened sigh, staring at her with the smile still across his visage. I wonder if she’ll feel comfortable here? He thought and took a shortened glance around the desired room he picked out for her, seeing that the style was mostly Gothic and antique. He felt the sudden need to brighten it up and assured himself that he would be mostly done by the time she were to awaken if he left now; which was exactly what he did.

When arriving back, he came into the room with bags filled, and as she slept, he adjusted the lighting in the room, accessorizing it with two twinkling night lights, removed most of the wallpaper and instead, replaced it with darkening purple skies that held just about a thousand of stars so that when she were to open and close her eyes every night, she would always feel at home…

As he was finally done, adding just a few more things, a small plushie that she could hold throughout the night which took the form of a smiling star, and later sweeping and cleaning most of his mansion, he was near the point of passing out with exhaustion. Deciding that she was new to the place, he wished to give her a small tour of their home sometime tomorrow and with that, he remained in the room with her to assure her safety and comfort and simply took a seating in a black lounge chair that was not too far from her bed side. He inhaled and exhaled happily, closing his eyes as he could barely keep them open with the little strength he had left, and had quickly fallen asleep…

Night was upon her now, Livana opened her eyes—the dull gray glowed and became an endless galaxy once more, she was livelier now with glitter sliding down her hair and her cheeks red as a fresh apple. She rose and looked over at Luther who was sleeping, when she looked down she saw a small star in her arms with a smile “how lovely” she whispered and kept it close to her small body, the star looked around and gently slid out of bed; quiet enough not to awaken Luther. Her feet were bare and she wanted to explore for a bit, she placed a small blanket on Luther and kissed his forehead gently—she placed the star in his arms and giggled before wandering the mansion.

It was old and strangely beautiful to her, the halls were ten times bigger than her and held a history she would shortly love to learn—Livana stopped and looked over to see the bathroom, she hadn’t showered for quite some time, and she usually used the small watering hole in the church when it rained but normally she managed. She pranced in and looked at the strange devices, how foreign to her but she managed to figure it out.

She turned the handle towards the right for heat and quickly slipped off her clothes and garments—she was now exposed; she folded her clothes and placed them on the counter. The star stepped into the shower and washed through her glittering silver of raven hair and began singing harmonious in the shower—the singing echoed the long halls—she left the door cracked to let the steam escape for she didn’t like it too much; she felt like she was smothering herself.

Luther’s body remained hunched over in his seat as he slept peacefully and as time gradually passed him, he could find himself succumbing to a deepened slumber, one he had not been able to experience in so long.

When he finally awoke, his eyes tried to blink the sleepiness away as they took a longer time to adjust to the setting around the room. He felt an oncoming yawn and soon his mouth opened in response, eyes closing, while he stretched in his seat. “Mmm…” He pushed his back against the chair, head tilted back, but suddenly he had remembered Livana. He jerked forward but then looked down, noticing the blanket that was neatly placed upon him and the plushy that was underneath his arm. He gave off a sigh, a smile soon replacing his worried expression but even then, he looked up to see if she was still asleep.

He noticed her presence was no longer in the room with him, perhaps curious as to where she was since he knew if he had personally awoken in a strange area, he too would investigate. He gave a small squeeze to the plush star, wondering if it was as soft as it appeared and after becoming satisfied with it, he gently pushed it to the side along with the blanket that Livana obviously left on him. She’s such a sweetheart. He thoughtand was glad that he approached her.

Luther stood tall, stretching once more as he let out another effortless yawn. “Nnn… she can’t be too far,” He spoke aloud as he walked over to the bed and neatly fixed it then turned, wishing to change his current attire into something much more comfortable. Eh, I’ll do that later. He told himself, walking out of the room in search of Livana.

Livana turned off the shower and stood there for a while, letting the water drip from her body—she blinked and stepped out of the shower, the star scanned the small bathroom and pulled down a white towel. She wrapped it around her body and stared down at her sparkled toes “What to do now?” she mumbled and dried herself off; she placed her dress back on and stepped out of the shower. Her feet were still bare and it encouraged her to dance, she began twirling down the hall on her tippy toes—her body glowed with a white luminescence and lit the entire halls; protecting them from the dark.

She hummed and twirled into she bumped straight into Luther “Oh dear” she grew off balance and almost fell but she grabbed Luther and leaned into him—she was close to him now and her cheeks turned a bright reddish hue; her hair was still moist from the shower. “Hello Luther, how did you sleep?” she asked sweetly and looked up at him; she flashed a genuine smile. Her finger tips brushed against his shirt eventually she realized what she was doing and stopped—she was quite embarrassed about it.

”Hey Livana,” Luther said with a smile, watching as she had clumsily ran into him. “I slept pretty well actually, how about you?” He admitted truthfully and wondered if she too had felt comfortable as he did. “Did you like the surprise?” In his head, he could already picture her reaction and felt oddly excited to know that it pleased her, but was curious to hear it from her, just in case he forgot to add something that she may have liked to see. His senses were then quickly drawn to the sweet smell that emanated from her body, and instantly knew that she had taken a bath and was quite content that she had easily found herself around the place despite its largeness. He looked down at her then back up, wondering if he should take her out to get a few new attires and something more comfy to sleep in, and decided that he would soon ask her.

She blinked and stared at Luther for awhile before responding to him “I slept well” she ran her fingers through her hair and smiled to herself—Luther was such a sweetheart. “I did! I did!” she said like a small child, she was quite excited about her gift—everything made her quite excitable. The star shifted her weight here and there and twirled away from Luther, she began performing various fluid movements and eventually stopped; clasping her hands behind her back.

“what should we do, Luther?” she asked sweetly.

Luther smiled at her enthusiasm, it was something that he needed beside him, to push away his usually gloomy and lonesome thoughts. He could see her becoming more of his motivation and reason to keep going in this hellhole.

“I’m pleased to hear that,” He responded simply and couldn’t help but watch her as she danced, which she seemed to do quite often and well.
“We should go run by a shop and pick out some clothes for you, as well as go to a nearby grocery to get some food. I’m sure your starving.” He assumed, and began thinking of places that were open at this hour as well as distance wise, if they were close and safe enough to wander to.

The star stared at him and thought about food, she didn’t really eat—above she ate ambrosia but that was about it; human food wasn’t something she tried exactly but she did love one thing. “I acquire lots of delicious fruit please” she smiled and giggled. She watched him for awhile before staring down at her bare feet once more “Clothes….don’t people wear the same thing…oh, of course not, how silly of me” she said in her small mouse-like voice.

“Fruits it is then,” Luther replied happily and gave her a long gaze. “And yes, most humans do wear the same clothes, but they also change them every so often.” He let out a small chuckle, her innocence was what he most liked about her. It was something rare now-a-days to come across.

He stared down at her feet, noticing that she was looking down at them as well, then looked back up at her face, wondering if he had anything that could accommodate her. “You can try on my clothes, they may be a bit big though.” He suggested, “But as soon as we get you some new attire, you could quickly change.”
